Don's Rok at 36 College Street has been a tavern since 1886 and called Don's Rok since 1973 and is now owned by Mark Smith. Built in 1864 it was a meat market and then a grocery and occupied by Owen J. Burns prior to his moving to 32 College Street in 1885. Names over the years of the bars included Za Za's and Pierce's.
