The Village Fountain & Stone Presbyterian Church

The Stone Presbyterian Church is seen through the Village Park Houghton Alumna fountain. The figurine was given to the Village in 1938 by graduates of Houghton Seminary, one of Clinton's more prominent private schools for girls in the late 19th century. The Stone Church followed the first Stone Church which was destroyed by fire in 1876. The Park Fountain and the Stone Presbyterian Church in the background on South Park Row in the 1990's.
