Dedication Ceremony
Join us at the Old Burying Ground
10 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 for the dedication ceremony of new monuments honoring the veterans of the American Revolution, Indigenous peoples and African Americans interred there. The event will include speakers, music and an honor guard.
As World War I savagely ravaged Europe in December 1914, soldiers on both sides put aside their differences to celebrate Christmas. The Clinton Historical Society 2025-2026 Richard L. Williams Speaker Series presents “1914: A World War Stops for Christmas,” by CHS Outreach Coordinator Joe Schmidt, 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9 at 1 Fountain Street, Clinton.
